Why I Formulate Products: A Love Letter to the Human Body.
Formulating products wasn’t my idea. When I first entered the world of wellness, it wasn’t through business classes—it was through necessity. It was through survival. I was faced with a life-threatening illness that doctors said would either take my life or permanently disable me. But deep down, I knew something they didn’t: the human body is capable of extraordinary healing when given the right tools, environment, and support.
After I recovered, a new mission took root in me—one that would shape the course of my life. I began pouring tens of thousands of hours into research, mentorships, and study—not because I needed it for myself anymore, but because I never wanted anyone else to endure what I had gone through without tools, awareness, or hope. I wasn’t just seeking facts; I was searching for truth. Truth that could equip others to reclaim their lives, their bodies, and their futures.
Formulating products became an unexpected extension of that calling.
As I started to scale what were kitchen recipes, I was able to connect the dots. I quickly learned first hand, onsite at the factories, that the health and wellness industry doesn’t always prioritize human health. Most products on the shelves are built backwards—starting with marketing goals instead of starting with the sacredness of the human body. Too often, cost-cutting and convenience are prioritized over purity and integrity. As a result, products are filled with synthetic additives, poorly sourced ingredients, and empty promises.
That wasn’t good enough for me. It never will be. So... I made a decision. If I was going to develop products, I would do it differently.
When I formulate, I imagine the people I love most—my daughter, my family, my friends and my community. Every decision is made with them in mind. Would I want this ingredient touching their skin, entering their bloodstream, nourishing their cells? If the answer is no, it never makes it past initial ingredient sourcing, let alone into a mixer.
I formulate because our bodies deserve better and because we are capable of so much more when the fullness of our design is supported, not suppressed.
I formulate because wellness is not just about what you consume—it’s about what your cells respond to.
I develop products with the conviction that feeding a nation deserves the same care, intentionality, and love as preparing a meal for our most cherished loved ones
I formulate because I know healing is possible when we honor the intricate, miraculous systems that make us who we are.
Every ingredient I choose, every product I develop, is a testament to my belief that we are not broken machines needing fixing. We are ecosystems requiring nourishment, reverence, and intelligent care. I blend the wisdom of ancient traditions with the cutting edge of scientific discovery, always asking: What will truly serve the human body, mind, and the future generations?
Behind every capsule, powder, beverage, beauty product or functional food I create, there is a fierce love for humanity, a relentless pursuit of truth, and an unwavering respect for the brilliance of life itself.
Formulating products is not a career—it is my passion, and ensuring families are represented and protected whenever ingredients are sourced and products are made is an act of service I don’t take lightly.
This work is a love letter to anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed or misled by the endless wave of so-called 'healthy' options—and to every parent who reaches for a packaged product, hoping it’s as nutrient dense and thoughtful as something homemade.
It is a commitment that in my work, you will find no shortcuts—
Only the quiet, powerful truth of how to truly nourish and honor the body, the way it was meant to be all along. Packaged into the products that make their way into the households of thousands of people; families that hoped whoever made it had their best interest in mind.
What an honor!
With So Much Love,
Wendi
